Punjab Police arrested three men from Jammu and Kashmir, uncovering a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) linked terror module in connection with the murder of a cab driver. The accused confessed to the crime and the victim's body and the weapon used were recovered.
The officials identified the deceased as Ashwani Sharma (24), his brother Dwarka Nath (55), niece Virta Devi (26) and their guest Om Raj (38), a resident of Banshara in Rajgarh. The rescuers are searching for Sharma's sister-in-law, Bidya Devi (55).
Earlier in 2010, the highest number of 156 terrorists were killed between January and July that year.
